FAU | Germany

Founded in 1743, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is now one of the largest research universities in Germany with 40,000 students. The five faculties cover the entire spectrum of modern academic disciplines – from humanities, social sciences and theology to medicine, law, economics, sciences and engineering.

The chair of media education is part of an extended educational structure within FAU preparing teacher students for all regular school types. It is engaged in applied educational research and continuously working in the field of learning, and especially technology enhanced learning.

The chair has a powerful learning technology support center (DigiLLab) focused on enhancing the technological skills of teachers student and teacher trainers. It is widely involved in R&D Projects in the field of innovative learning technologies research, and it cooperates with educational institutions in the region of Bavaria and beyond.


NTNU | Norway

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is Norway’s primary institution for educating the nation's future engineers and scientists. The university also has strong programmes in the social sciences, teacher education, the arts and humanities, medicine, architecture and fine art.


EUCEN | Belgium

EUCEN, the European university continuing education network, is an international non-governmental non-for-profit association founded in 1991 and registered under Belgian law in 1994. It currently has 169 members in 36 different countries, mainly universities actively committed and involved in the development of University Lifelong Learning (ULLL). It includes 17 European National/Regional Networks for ULLL and 8 associations concerned with the education of adults. eucen is the founding associations of the LLL Platform.


AETMA | IHU | Greece

Τhe Advanced Educational Technologies and Mobile Applications (AETMA) Lab was established in 2016 (Government Gazette Issue Β 836 Section 1 30/03/2016). The AETMA research lab is part of the Department of Computing and Informatics Engineering at the Eastern Macedonia and Thrace Institute of Technology (EMATTECH). AETMA research focuses on the following areas: the development of educational and e-learning software; Augmented Reality applications and wearable technologies; mobile applications development & mobile learning; and technology enhanced learning.

AKTO | Greece

AΚΤΟ is the largest educational group, in Art, Design and Media, in Greece, including one of the most prestigious Design departments in Europe. Applied Arts are taught at AKTO in a global, multidisciplinary spirit, combining scientific theory and artistic practice in a unique way. Our mission is to encourage students, assist them in highlighting their talents and skills and discover their own creativity.

AKTO is consisted of AKTO College, AKTO Institute of Vocational Training and AKTO Training Lifelong Learning Centre.
